I have to wonder what a community built around a technology will do when they lose that technology. When it gets old, changes, or goes away.
I think that for me to really show care for someone, means I am in their field of view. I can't hug or shakes hands with a tweet. So to me, this electronic stuff is just another separator that gives the illusion of connection.
My neighbor and I are connected because I change her light bulbs. She calls me to come open part of her dinner that her 96 year old hands can't do. That's connection. And to the point that technology removes us from that, is isn't building community.
