hozho
In the Navajo (Diné) worldview hozho (roughly translated as "beauty and harmony") refers to an ideal of order, and balance; it can be also understood in contrast to hocho, or disorder. A sacred condition, hozho is meant to be part of daily life, an integral part of every action and state of being. Healing, in this context, means being restored to hozho.
